tubing Weather permitting, Oakland County Parks is having a Frosty Oak Fest at Independence Oak County Park at 9501 Sashabaw Road in Clarkston, Mi.

This educational and informative event will also have a bit of winter fun for family members of all ages.

On a Guided Winter Walk, you will find out the secrets in the snow, from a naturalist.
Make a snowflake catcher and find out about whats in a winter nights skys.wf

Sledding tubes, fishing poles and snowshows will be availble but feel free to bring your own.
(Cross-county ski rental will also be offered)

For those living in the south end of the county, round-trip transportation to Frosty Oaks Fest will be available at Catalpa Oaks County Park on Greenfield Road in Southfield.

Cost is $5 for adults and $3 for children 12 and under. Pre-registration is required

The bus will leave Catalpa Oaks at 11:15am and return by 5:00pm. On-bus storage is available for sleds, snowshoes, cross-country skis, ice skates, etc.
