Early fall to many in Michigan means two things
: College Football and Apple Cider
It's that time once again to pack up the family and head out to visit your local cider mill.
You won't find nothing sweeter then fresh ice cold apple cider (except maybe honey straight from the hive!!)
At many mills/farms you can get more then just apples and cider. Veggies, fruits, pies and honey, along with donuts can be found at many of the mills.
Some even have special events for the season (halloween hauntings, hay rides, barn dances etc)
So take a ride this weekend and visit one of the area cider mills.
Here are a few of the Cider Mills in Oakland County that we have visited recently:
Michigan has the apple blossom as its state flower so why shouldn't apple cider be made the official state drink?
In 2008 we published a longer list of mills & farms in the area. You can find that list here.
We have not gone back and verified any of the sites on that list.
