All About "Around the Town"

The Around the Town blog contains metro area events that either we've (the bloggers) attended in the past, would like to attend, plan to attend or just sound interesting. It is not  a complete event calender or is focused on only events that take place  in the county. Read more.

Grab a blanket and head over to the Detroit Zoo for the annual Wild Summer Nights concert series.  The concerts are free with zoo admission and will take place on Wednesday nights July 1 through August 26 from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the Zoo’s Main Picnic Grove.  A variety of live music from local bands, including children’s, jazz, pop, folk and blues will be featured in these series.  Bring your own snacks or visit one of the many concession stands at the zoo.  There will be plenty of fun for the entire family!
