April 10th is opening day for our beloved Detroit Tigers.
(let us be truthful here, I am a Cubs fan first, a Tigers fan second but with the exception of June 23-25, I will be rooting for the Tigers all season)
After a less than satisfactory 2008, we will hope that 2009 will bring smiles to the faces in the stands at Comerica Park. While they open the season in Toronto, they will return for a weekend series against the Texas Rangers on April 10th - 12th including the home opener on the 10th.
