All About "Around the Town"

The Around the Town blog contains metro area events that either we've (the bloggers) attended in the past, would like to attend, plan to attend or just sound interesting. It is not  a complete event calender or is focused on only events that take place  in the county. Read more.

Celebrate spring at the Detroit Zoo with Bunnyville on Saturday, April 11, 2009 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.  This event is fun for the entire family and will include costumed characters, treats, crafts, photo stations, live entertainment and a visit with the Easter Bunny.  Visit the Ford Education Center Theater for an off Broadway Production of The Bunny Follies.  Other activities include: games, prizes and the bunny hop.

Admission for the event is $4 for non-members with a canned food donation to Gleamers Community Food Bank.  Zoo member admission is free, but a canned food donation is encouraged.

For more information visit the Detroit Zoo's Web site.
