Southeast Michigan has been the host to a major auto show for over a century. Up until the mid 80's it was only a regional show, but in 1987, it beacame, The North American International Auto Show.
Each year, for the Press Preview, thousands of journalists from more then 50 countries converge on Detroit to see what new offerings the manufactures have planed for the upcoming year, and their concepts for the future. The Charity Preview Gala, on the Friday before the public opening, attracts up to 15 thousand people, bringing in millions for local children's charities.
No matter if you a budding artist examining the latest lines & curves of the concept vehicles, a car lot window shopper, or just someone who wants to see one of the 50 new models being premiered at the show, the North American International Auto Show has everything you need to see vehicles from just about every manufacturer all under one roof at Cobo Center.
