America’s Thanksgiving Day Parade

Have you ever watched the Thanksgiving Day Parade on tv and wished that you could be there?  Join the fun at this year’s America’s Thanksgiving Day Parade on Thursday, November 27, 2008.  The theme for this year is Legends and Lollipops. The parade route will travel down Detroit’s Woodward Avenue and includes tons of floats, papier-mâché heads, balloons, marching bands, specialty acts and local celebrities.  Who knows, you might even catch a glimpse of the jolly ole elf himself, Santa Clause.

The parade starts at 9:20 AM, but get there early for a great spot on the route.

For more information visit the America’s Thanksgiving Parade Web site.
