All About "Around the Town"

The Around the Town blog contains metro area events that either we've (the bloggers) attended in the past, would like to attend, plan to attend or just sound interesting. It is not  a complete event calender or is focused on only events that take place  in the county. Read more.

The Queen Anne Depot in South Lyon was given the name "The Witch's Hat" by its distinctive roof line. Built in 1909, it was moved to it's current location in McHattie park in 1976. It serves as the centerpiece of the Witch's Hat Museum and Historical Village which, includes a few other period buildings, a 1907 School House and a 1930s era "kit building.

McHattie Park is at 300 Dorothy Street in South Lyon. For more information visit www.southlyonmi.org
