For those of you owning a truly classic vehicle and would like to join other auto enthusiasts on a exclusive fall driving tour, the Acorn Tour is right up your tree. This event hosted by the Walter P Chrysler Museum starts off with a continental breakfast and a tour of the Walter P. Chrysler Museum. From there, you and your car will wind through a few of Western Oakland County's tree covered roads.
Highlights of the tour will be:
- Shuman's private vehicle museum (with a 1908 Maxwell) in Walled Lake
- Lunch at Bay Point Golf Club
- Tour of Cranbrook's Albert Kahn designed Arts & Crafts style home
- Visit the Cranbrook Art Museum
You will finish your tour at the Cupcake Station in Birmingham.
Cost is $58 per person and a 45 year old or older car is required for the tour.
