Join us for the 2nd annual Wewene Mawjeshnok Powwow, on September 13 and 14, 2008 at Oakland County's Groveland Oaks Park. Dance competitions, traders, and native foods are just a few of the things you will find at this family friendly event. Native Americans representing the People of the Three Fires will gather to celebrate the customs and culture of the indigenous Michigan Indians – Ottawa, Ojibwe and Potawatomi – at the 16th Annual Native American Festival and Mini Pow Wow.
